3 charged after alleged assault at Evergreen Raceway in Luzerne County
HARFORD COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — An Abingdon man was convicted of assault charges after he attacked two men at an Aberdeen bus stop, striking one in the neck with a liquor bottle.
A Harford County jury convicted Alford Delone Johnson, 46, on Sept. 17 of first- and second-degree assault following a two-day trial, according to the Harford County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors said a 31-year-old man was waiting for the bus at East Bel Air Avenue in Aberdeen on Nov. 7, 2025, when Johnson allegedly struck him in the face with a liquor bottle unprovoked.
The victim suffered a significant neck laceration that required emergency treatment and sutures.

Johnson was also convicted in connection with the assault of a 51-year-old man at the bus stop, whom witnesses said Johnson slapped and punched.
According to prosecutors, Johnson had been drinking and appeared agitated while looking for his girlfriend before the assaults.
Witnesses initially knew the suspect only as “Chi Town.” Aberdeen Police later identified that person as Johnson and arrested him several days later.
