Teams of volunteers, 80 in total, work to create eight custom, wheelchair-accessible Halloween costumes for children who use wheelchairs or walkers as their primary mode of mobility during the 2026 Wheelchair Costume Workshop, organized by the Harford County Public Library, at Coppermine Bel Air Athletic Club on Oct. 2 and 3. The eight children recipients and their families received their costumes prior to a Trunk-or-Treat event on Saturday afternoon. Around 1,000 children participated in the Trunk-or-Treat.
